What does FSC mean?

FSC paper means that the pulp for making the paper is made from trees from sustainable forests (maintain the forest/wildlife/water ecosystem). It is completely bio-degradable and recyclable. This means that the paper pulp has been sourced in an environmentally friendly, socially responsible and viable manner. FSC certification tracks forest products from the forest through each stage of processing, conversion, printing and distribution. The Chain of Custody process ensures the greeting cards are coming from responsibly managed sources.

Plastic free cards

We do not use cellophane bags for our greeting cards. They are always supplied without cellophane packaging. By doing this, we are able to save tons of plastic waste from being produced and prevent it from ending up in the environment.

Eco-friendly Printing

We use soya ink (plant-based) for printing and water-based sealers as standard practices. This ink complies with the EU REACH standards.

This means the printer uses vegetable-based inks, which offer several environmental benefits: they are a renewable resource, help conserve petroleum supplies, and reduce VOCs (volatile organic compounds). At the end of the product's life, vegetable inks are easier to remove during the recycling process, making the product more recyclable.
